If I had to name anything that was most valuable in having Eric work with us, it
would be his effectiveness in getting us to break out of what feel like circular "where do we start" quagmires -- somehow, no matter how impossible it has seemed, we always end up leaving meetings with defined small(-ish) tasks and a sense that something is do-able. He gets us un-stuck very well.
The "Leading Effective Board Meetings" workshop gave me the conceptual framework and the practical skills to make a significant difference in the way
our board meetings run.
He is good at putting himself in our shoes to understand what our organization
needs. ... I felt like we went on a trip together, none of us knowing where we were going, but with Eric having at least made similar trips before. He knows how to travel, even if he's never been to our country before.
